Education Not Militarization: more info This Project is focused on eliminating the military from the lives of youth in Chicago Public Schools. CPS is the most militarized school system in the U.S. with over 8,000 middle and high school youth in some form of military training. The message is that the primary purpose of the military is the infliction of violence and violence has no place in the lives of youth. This Project has received support across the nation, including from the following peace leaders.
